About Me

I am a senior at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. I'm interested in robotics, with a focus on mechanical design and control systems. My work experience includes manufacturing, automation, machining, and design through internships at Shaker Numeric and Lincoln Electric. As an undergraduate researcher at TRACE Lab, I've also had the opportunity to work with industrial humanoids and quadrupedal robotics. I've designed hardware to interface with existing robots, assisted with experiments, created a robotics gripper, and am currently using these resources as an opportunity to dive into reinforcement learning. Independently, I've worked on projects including robotics, animatronics, clock repair, welding, and woodworking. I also enjoy finding beauty in Cleveland's industrial past and communicating that history through photography and videography. The group project I'm most proud of is NEMO: a humanoid robot capable of legged locomotion. As the Mechanical Lead of the team, I designed the mechanical structure and calibration system, incorporated feedback to iterate through prototypes, manufactured and assembled components, and created a mobile test stand and harness system. Ultimately, I hope to work on robots that can perform beyond pure functionality: introducing character and personality into their movement.
